As a veterinary nurse, Elizabeth Obermeier brings over a decade of experience to her massage therapy practice. After a successful career in the Los Angeles film industry, she found her true calling to help animals and their owners through a deeply personal journey with her beloved dog, Goldie.

A Passion Sparked by Personal Experience

Elizabeth’s journey into the veterinary field began with Goldie, who underwent a dorsal laminectomy, in 2013. It was at that time Elizabeth discovered her love for animal rehabilitation and neurology. After a decade in Los Angeles, Elizabeth left a successful career to pursue a new dream. Returning to the Bay Area, Elizabeth received her associate degree in Veterinary Technology (with high honors) from Foothill College in 2016. With a background in general practice, ophthalmology, neurology, emergency and animal rehabilitation, Elizabeth moved to Colorado in 2017 to continue pursuing her love for animal rehabilitation and education. Since being in Colorado, Elizabeth has completed her certified animal rehabilitation practitioner certification from the University of Tennessee (CCRPT) andI her small animal massage therapist (CSAMT) and her veterinary cannabis counselor (VCC) certification. Goldie continued to teach Elizabeth valuable lessons in care, especially in her final years, where massage and integrative therapies provided comfort and quality of life.

A Personal Philosophy of Caring

Elizabeth believes in meeting each animal where they are, creating positive experiences that build trust and enhance well-being. She particularly enjoys helping pets develop confidence through gentle, consistent handling.

Life Outside the Practice

When not helping patients, Elizabeth channels her passion into training her rescue dog, Albert Einstein, who is working toward his canine good citizen and therapy dog certification. An outdoor enthusiast, she enjoys hiking, paddleboarding with Albert, and cycling on her vintage Italian steel road bike, Hollywood. She participates in community dog training events and group activities promoting positive pet socialization.
